This week we have been learning about Greek Legends. We watched a video about Medusa a gorgan with hair of snakes and Perseus the hero who chopped off  her head to save his mother marrying the evil king. We also learnt about other Ancient Greek Gods. Our class wrote some super cool Medusa stories.

What does Mars look like?

You HAVE to go here to see 360° panoramas of Mars. It's awe inspiring—especially when you zoom in! http://www.360cities.net/image/curiosity-rover-martian-solar-day-2

What a day it was. We had three groups of children. One of boys one girls and one of slaves. We were acting out our roles as though we were in Ancient Greece.this is our new topic for the term. The boys got to go to school and they wrote Greek letters in clay and wrestle on the mat. The girls plaited their hair, learned to sew and made ambrosia. BUT.... the poor slaves had to clean the school grounds, clean windows, do the dishes and peel grapes for the boys to eat!! It was a tough afternoon for some.
